In the final weeks leading up to Fashion Week Panama 2012, Nixia has busied herself with a Varela LaMar collection that will doubtless be received with spectacular enthusiasm.  However, this has not slowed her other projects including keeping local boutiques stocked, numerous interviews and two photo sessions.  Selections from a session at a private home appear on this post.  

Selections from the other session, outside of Panama City, will appear in a local magazine close to the time of FWP 2012 and is closely related to the thematic inspiration of the collection that will be seen on the runway at Fashion Week Panama.

Nixia and her staff are currently at work on her collection for Fashion Week Panama 2012.  Much of the FWP 2012 collection will incorporate fabrics selected on Nixia's shopping trip in Europe a year ago. 

In addition to FWP 2012 preparations, Nixia recently completed a magazine photoshoot slated for publication across several issues starting in July.  Stay tuned for previews!

In 2010, Nixia presented at Costa Rica Fashion Week.  With the success of that Varela LaMar collection the brand will presently be available in San Jose boutiques.
