At Costa Rica Fashion Week 2010, Nixia Varela LaMar formed a valued friendship and professional relationship with Nayith Diaz of CRC Moda.  Nixia was delighted that Nayith came to Fashion Week Panama 2011 to see not only her her collection, but those of talented designers from throughout the region who presented creations.  Nixia wishes to thank Nayith for his support, both personal and through his publication.  She looks forward to seeing him soon!

 While Nixia continues her travels to purchase fabrics and to attend a wedding, production has not ceased in Panama of her Ixi Bags and Bella Bags.  These a few of the latest creations in stores now.

New Clutch Bags Coming: The Bella Bag

Nixia Varela LaMar is currently preparing her next line of clutch bag.  The Bella Bag will be a more formal clutch for nighttime use that will complement evening wear.  Like the Ixi Bag, clutch bags in the upcoming Bella Bag collection will incorporate Nixia's trademark stylistic innovations, elegant color combinations and attention to detail.

In the meantime, these are among the latest Ixi Bags Nixia has created.  Some incorporate molas while others are hand-painted by the designer herself.
